Meet Kelly
Licensed Professional Counselor
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed and practicing in the state of Michigan. I began practicing in 2017, shortly after completing my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University in Rochester, MI (2017). I also hold a Bachelors degree in General Psychology from Western Michigan University (2014).
My passion for mental health started during my own adolescence as I struggled to navigate events in my own life that would lead to an ongoing battle with anxiety and depression. While I will never promise to understand your experience, my own experiences allows me to relate and better understand the struggles you may be facing.
In addition to my collegiate course work, I am currently pursuing certifications in trauma, as well as body image and eating disorders.
Healing doesn't mean the hurt never existed, it means the hurt no longer controls your life.
